Drug Education and Awareness (“Marijuana 101”)

Overview of the workshop-This interactive one-hour workshop reviews campus policy and state laws regarding marijuana as well as its effects on the mind and body. The goal of this workshop is to encourage students to identify ways to make responsible decisions in regard to marijuana. It also provides awareness of the potential consequences of using and possessing marijuana. This workshop is facilitated by a retired DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) agent.

This interactive workshop is specifically designed to provide an educational opportunity for students who are cited for the first time for possession of marijuana either in the community, on campus, or in the residence halls.

There is a $50 programming fee for this workshop. This workshop fee can be billed to your student account, paid with debit/credit, or check. Cash or checks will not be accepted in person. Once you have registered confirmation will be sent to the email address PROVIDED in the registration. Please allow 24 hours to receive this confirmation.
