This workshop will be in person. This interactive one-hour workshop is specifically designed to provide an educational opportunity for students who are cited for a first time for possession/use of marijuana and/or inhalants either in the community, on campus, or in the residence halls. The workshop reviews campus policy and state laws regarding marijuana and/or inhalants as well as its effects on the mind and body. The goal of this workshop is to encourage students to identify ways to make responsible decisions. It also provides awareness of the potential consequences for drugs.
There is a $50 programming fee for this workshop. This workshop fee can be billed to your student account, paid with debit/credit, or check. Cash or checks will not be accepted in person. Online Drug Education Course Summary: “MARIJUANA 101” is an online drug education course. You’ll need access to an internet-connected computer and an email address. This course is specifically designed to provide an educational opportunity for students who are cited for the first time for possession of marijuana either in the community, on campus, or in the residence halls. This online course reviews state law regarding marijuana as well as its effects on the mind and body. You must score at least 80% to pass the course. The objective of this course is to encourage students to identify ways to make responsible decisions in regard to marijuana. It also provides awareness of the potential consequences of using and possessing marijuana.
