Fall 2021 Drug Education Awareness (DEA) Workshop Summary: This workshop will be in person. This interactive one-hour workshop is specifically designed to provide an educational opportunity for students who are cited for a first time for possession of marijuana either in the community, on campus, or in the residence halls. The workshop reviews campus policy and state laws regarding marijuana as well as its effects on the mind and body. The goal of this workshop is to encourage students to identify ways to make responsible decisions in regard to marijuana. It also provides awareness of the potential consequences of using and possessing marijuana. This workshop is facilitated by a retired DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) agent. *There is a $50 programming fee for this workshop. This workshop fee can be billed to your student account, paid with debit/credit, or check.
